The Nike Air Jordan Alpha 1 was first released on January 16th 2010, followed by seven other colorways within the first half of the year. These shoes are similar to the original Air Jordans but much more comfortable, sporting a perforated upper made from full-grain leather with nubuck and Air Jordan logo on the side as well as the famous Nike 'swoosh'.

The midsole is a rubber cupsole with the Nike standard Air-Sole in the heel for maximum cushioning, while the rubber outsole has deep flex grooves for added flexibility and concentric circle design for multidirectional traction. A special version of this shoe called the Air Jordan Alpha 1 iD has also been released which lets you customize the shoe with your own choice of colors using the Nike iD website. Both Men's and Boy's sizes are available; colorways can be viewed by following the link in the details section to the nike/jumpman23 website.
