Nike Air 6.0 Insurgent

$80.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Toe is reinforced to keep the shoe together when skating and protect the foot, does a good job. Laces are covered on the edges to keep them from catching on things or tearing. Attractive shape and style, look great with everything.

The Cons:Not very flexible at all, hard to get them to bend. Can pry the glued back off if you step on them to take them off, have to be careful of that.

The Nike Air 6.0 Insurgent is a premium men’s skating shoe engineered for professional-level skateboarding. On the inside, the Insurgent uses a leather, suede, and nuback upper with TPA overlays for stability, as well as comfort.

Note also the unit’s stitch-and-turn construction with a mesh tongue and perforations—rendering the unit breathable and therefore more user-friendly. The Insurgent also employs a full-length Phylon midsole with a large Air-Sole unit for greater heel impact absorption, making it easier to not only make lengthy jumps, but recover from them as well. On the outside, there’s a sticky-gum rubber outsole with a 6.0 traction pattern, which also aids shock-absorption and comfort. Most unique about the Nike Air 6.0 Insurgent, however, is its hidden lacing system; the lace holes are hidden from view.
