Adidas Dragon
$65.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Strong arch support, but also comfortable for people with flat feet. Pumps air through the shoe to keep the foot cool and dry. Simplified design looks striking, black fabric looks deep black.
The Cons:Take some breaking in, may leave blisters if over used at first. Sole tread has limited grip, doesn't work well on slippery surfaces. No impact absorption, running in these can cause pain in the knees and shins.
The Adidas Dragon is a men’s training shoe originally introduced in the mid-70s. Still popular, this unique gym-friendly sneaker features a retro-style that fits seamlessly in a workout environment.

On the inside, it hosts a textile and full-grain leather upper for breathability, as well as comfort and a soft feel. Included also is an EVA midsole for extra-lightweight cushioning. And on the outside, the Dragon sports a textured pattern-gum designed to look good, but also maintain a firm grip. This sneaker is essentially for body-builders and other athletes concerned about not just style, but durability as well.
